Clinic Policies
Appointment Policy
An appointment must be made to see the veterinarian or assistants. This allows time for
each pet to receive the utmost attention during their appointment or procedure. In cases of
emergencies, we ask that you call the clinic for further instructions.
We will see our established patients for emergencies when possible during business hours, but for conditions that we feel need immediate or extensive work-up, or care that we cannot adequately provide, we may refer you to a fully staffed emergency clinic.
First and foremost, we desire every animal to get the best care possible in emergency situations. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which makes the occasional appointment delay inevitable. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding if your pet's appointment gets delayed due to an emergency work-in. Please understand that we do make a sincere attempt to see each patient on time.

Patient Arrival Policy
Upon arrival, please call the clinic at (618)539-3444 if you have a pet with you. We operate
by a one pet in the lobby policy, as our lobby is small and it helps keep our patients' stress
levels at a minimum.
All dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be in an appropriate cat carrier. Though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during their visit, they may still be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, or other pets. Thank you for your cooperation in restraining your pet and allowing each pet their own space in our lobby.
