We understand that emergencies can happen at any time, and that it is a very stressful time for you and your pet. It is our desire to assist our established clients in handling the emergency whenever possible. Please understand there may be times when we are unavailable for emergencies due to family obligations, being out of town, etc. and that after-hour emergency fees will apply. We appreciate your respectful use of emergency calls for true emergencies only. Non-emergent or chronic health issues will be deferred until regular business hours.
For emergencies after hours, please call (618) 539-3444. You will hear a recording giving contact information for our doctors as well as an area emergency clinic open after normal business hours. We will see our established patients for emergencies when possible, but for non-clients, conditions that we feel need extensive work-up or care that we cannot adequately provide during non-staffed hours, we may refer you to a fully staffed emergency clinic until the pet can be transferred back to our clinic on the next business day. First and foremost, we desire every animal get the best care possible in emergency situations.
